Greetings,
Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Union of Saudi Chambers No. (45104090) dated (9/8/1445 AH), in which reference is made to the General Ports Authority’s letter No. (1/31/70/22147) dated (9/1/1445 AH). It includes cooperation and partnership with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, and with reference to Circular issued by the Authority No. (10) of 2022 AD, regarding the emphasis on entering contact information for importers in the manifest and bills of lading.
The General Ports Authority would like to announce the obligation for shipping agents to enter the data of importers’ cargo owners (mobile number - email) when uploading the manifest via the Fasah platform, as of the date (5/1/2024 AD), and the Authority will monitor the index of importers’ commitment to entering the data, All necessary legal measures will be taken for those who are not in compliance, for each case individually, and the shipping agents will bear the costs of amending the data.
